"It always depends" Poem
It always depends
Deeming life as hard seems too common these days
Having a tough start is the most normal of all ways
Facing only the down parts became a journey not a phase
And having a good heart gets you nowhere near a praise
I want to be just like you but it pains me that I can't
I've pursued many paths but they were all backup plans
I've put my talents up for sale but none of them sells
I've backed up my dreams to pursue something else
You don't get what you want you just want and it never ends
You can feel really proud but you're more proud of your friends
Never proud of yourself, just proud to not descend
Just really really average and mediocrity extends
Where am I headed? Well, it always depends
If it’s what I want it offends, if it's for them it's the trends
If you really want to live it you won't, that's it
Don't dream, don't work, never know or predict
